Kaplan concerns about books

I am wondering if some fellow students will offer some help.
I am starting ACCA F7 and F8. My works have said they will only pay for revision courses and exams so I am doing studying itself by home learning. I have heard some horror stories about kaplan books being riddled with errors and want to know how bad this really is before my employers pay the book fees. I am worried that this will affect my studies.
I'm looking into BPP as well but I used Kaplan books for AAT which didn't seem too bad but some people I know say they have all of a sudden gone terrible.

Help appreciated.

I have used the Kaplan books for F5, F6, F7 & F8 and there have either been no errors or very few, 3 or 4, but there is usually a correction sheet on engage for this.

I have done level 2 using Kaplan, yes there were a few errors but they have corrected them on engage. I found them an easy book to follow, especially as text and workbook is combined.
