What does exemption mean??

Guys um on level 4, under the 4 optional subjects i have passed auditing and have been exempted from cash management & credit control, do i still have to write one of the two taxes?

    Sounds that you are in the same situation as me - if you have just completed the intermediate stage under the old standards you would have already taken the skills test for Cash Management and Credit Control so you don't have to sit it again at Technician Level.

    If you have also completed auditing then you have 2 optional units completed and no, you will not have to do either of the tax units.

    So if you did cash management and credit control under the old standards, can you use that as an exemption for one of the optional units and only take just one of the optional units?

    Thats what Premier Training told me when I signed up for my Technician Stage - I had a discount on the cost of the course as I only have to sit 1 optional unit and not 2.
