Hi Everybody,
I've been approached by Yell.com about one of their packages.
They want to optimise and host my website and give me a listing. They also want to, using a 'professional', re-design my website so it includes relevant keywords etc.
I have provisionally agreed to it.
Can anybody advise whether this is the best route to take?
Kind Regards
Mike

I heard a few stories of people being very with this service and the company i work for is one of them.
We did this and they gave us a very poorly designed website, used the wrong domain name and when you type our company name in google it doesnt show up so i certainly cant see it showing up if you type in accountants etc. So much for their supposed search engine optimisation.
They asked us what we wanted but designed it totally different and just copied and pasted the wording from our old website which we specifically said we didnt want.
I would certainly look for more reviews before you go ahead because the company i work for cant wait to get rid of the website and i know of a couple more who think the same.0 -
certainly heard this not only about Yell but many others as well.
I would approach someone you find or are recommended to you.Regards,
