Not far from the centre then. Family are from Banagher, Offaly.

I was in Portumna for the weekend recently so not a million miles away. I try and get over as often as possible just to stock up on kimberleys and club orange

Thought you lived in Hastings Yazi?

Drove through those parts a few weeks ago. Jesus it's bleak. Don't think the fighting and aggro has ever stopped there since William the Conqueror landed almost a thousand years ago.

Work in St Leonards, Hastings, but live in Bexhill.

Drove past you last Thursday on way to Bournemouth and back again Sunday.
(Was glad the tunnel was open. Hate the diversion.)

I lived there from when I was 2 til I was 17... I guess my parents were lured by the promise of big houses and endless sunshine and then like so many others realised 15 years later that it's not worth living in constant fear for!

Does sound like a scary place to live, at least you're in a safe country doing an even safer job now ;)
