budgeting exam CBA...

in AAT Level 4 (Level 8 in Scotland)
Guys, who have allready done budgeting , was there any questions of limiting factor...or indexation...or calculating the variances od any other odd questionsss?

    Hi, sat my budgeting last week and found it very similar to the online practise paper, i had no variances to calculate (i did get a couple of e-mail questions requiring comments about the given variances), and regards to limiting factors and indexing i didn't have anything on them.

    i am realy worried becos what happend last time with my financial performance ,i got few unexpected question which leds me to fail and i dont want that to happen again.i got my budgeting thursday the 16th.
    Also , was the part which u have mentioned about comments on variances ,was that stright forward or ...hard ?

    I have budgeting next week. I also wondered if people found they were similar to the practice CBA's as I feel not all the syllabus is covered in the practice CBA's? Similar happened to me with Business Tax, I got a few unexpected questions.

    On the e-mail questions there were four variances to comment on so i just took one at a time and commented in bullet points using the information given as to why there was a variance. And yes i didn't think it covered the syllabus, i didn't get and stepped costs or indexing which i had hoped for after hours revising them!

    You'll get all that in your financial performance exam...a few other ECR things thrown in that one too!
