Cashflow Forecast Option in Sage Line 50

Hi there,

Does anyone use the cashflow option in Sage Line 50 v13.02. I am unable to ask sage as my boss won't pay the extra for Sage support.

I have just started looking in to this option and would really like to make use of it, but I don't understand why the 'Balance for the Day column' as at today's date does not agree with the book balance.

I have set the Forecast column to run from oldest entry at the top to newest entry at the bottom. I have put a tick (inc) for every entry to be included.

The book balance at the top LHS agrees with my bank statement, I just can't get the 'Balance for the Day column to agree.

Any help suggestions would be greatly received.

    Umm !!

    It's just a thought and you have probably considered it, but would the difference be timing issues such as item posted onto Sage, but not yet left the bank... so on and so forth?

    Could be, thanks for your suggestion, I shall look more deeply into what you said and see if that's what it is.
