Hello,
I would like to know if I have a Ltd company and start using a trading name for the Ltd company ie XYZ Ltd t/a James Cleanings.
Who do I need to inform about it?
Do I inform tax office?
What about companies house?
Please give me some idea about it.

The VAT office, if the co is registered for VAT, like to know trading names.
Other than that, as long as your website and letterhead clearly state the entity behind the trading name, that is about it.0
