I have completed level 2 & 3 AAT, but so far have no experiece, I was wondering if anybody has or knows anyone who is willing to let me go in for maybe 1 day per week, I am happy for voluntary work. I am in the Blackpool area,

    I've just started my level 4 and am nearing the end of a 3 month placement in a small chartered practice. Is tough going finding work and even work experience right now isn't it ?

    Hi,
    Try volunteering. There will be agency type organisations in your area that will match you (and your skills and what you can offer) to an organisation.
    I have been the treasurer of a local charity for the past couple of years and have gained amazing experience doing so: bookkeeping, putting together annual accounts, working with the auditor, presenting accounts at the AGM, submitting returns to charity commission, taking our charity through incorporation (becoming a Ltd Company), working with the payroll bureau, investing our funds... It complimented my AAT really well.
