AAT Book keeping qualification training and having some help?

Hi,

I have been a MIP for nearly 2 years now but have been on maternity leave for the last year so I am looking to build up my client base slowly but I have a brother in law who would love to train to be a book keeper too so I have suggested that he could sit the AAT book keeping qualification as a view to working with me in the future however I am a little unsure on how/if this would would I have the following questions any help/links or information would be appreciated:

1.) does AAT Book keeping qualification alone let you get MLR accreditation?
2.) while he trains can he do some work with me so long as I sign everything off or does this not follow MLR requirements?
3.) does he get any expemtions from full AAT Qualification?
