Hi Folks

I recently lost my calculator and in the process of buying a new one.

Is there any one in particular that you would recommend? I want to keep it for a fair few years. After finishing the AAT, I am hoping to go on to acca or cima.

Thanks in advance for your response.

    Lol really?!

Get a casio scientific, you'll need it for ACCA.

Don't get one that stores info as you won't be able to use it for the CBA's

    Hi Folks

Thanks for your replies & that tip not to get a phone that stores info.

Is there anything else I need to consider when selecting which cslculator to buy?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, does it have a battery or back up or will it run out in the middle of your exam because the sun disappeared.

Does it have all functions you want to use and can you easily find them back.

You can store numbers (memory function), but it should not allow you to store text or formulas.

Find one that looks like the one you used for a long time, if you used the old one for a long time, or it might take a long time to get back used to them, which is ok if you have got the time, but not if you got an exam planned in the next month....
