Hello

I've just finished my level three and will be starting level four in September. I'm currently employed but looking to move closer to home as I have a massive commute at the minute. I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for getting a foot in the door with a new employer? I've seen a few jobs via agencies but am not keen on finding jobs via agencies and most accountants don't seem to advertise on their website. Also, if practices are anything like where I am at the minute I wont be able to speak to the person I want to because they'll be guarded by armies of admin workers.

Can anyone share any experiences or insight that might be helpful?
