Late payment of student membership fees.

My student membership fees are due by 1st September. Anyone know what happens if I pay them late? My college hasn't got back to me about re-enrolling for this year (despite me contacting them repeatedly) and without confirmation that I can enrol and since I'm unemployed I obviously dont want to chuck away £80 on student membership fees which will then turn out to be pointless.

You can't sit any exams and you also won't get the results of any exams until you are up to date with your fees.
If you do pay later than the 1st September I think they just backdate it to cover the period from 1 Sept. Your next fee will still be due 1st Sept the following year.0
