Capital gain: disposal of rental property

I never have a clue how to price these.

I'm a fixed fee girl not an hourly rate girl (oo err) but I'm not sure what to charge, or what the "going rate" is, if any.

A basic property disposal with no PPR or other complications is relatively straightforward but still takes care and skill, and time in talking the client through what information I need, so I don't want to underprice, but I don't want to overprice either.

Halp!

I usually add a charge for Capital Gain to the clients tax return bill and charge between £50 & £100 depending on client and other fees earned from client in year. Based in North West.

I have always felt this is cheap but seems to be one of those things clients really aren't keen to pay for as most of mine dont even want to pay the CGT!

Thanks Groundy. It is a tricky one to price for, that's for sure! I was thinking around £75 so I'm in the right ballpark.
