Any advice greatly received.

Hello Anniebabe
They are great for extra question practice for the different chapters/units in each module and there are also several practice papers at the back.
I used these for Level 3 and FNST for Level 4 and would highly recommend them.

Ok ,thats great.
For FNST - did you use the past papers exams?
just wondering if I should print them off or not.
not sure if they are relevant with them being old standards.
havent started this unit yet - but I like to be prepared instead of panicking as the last minute.0 -
Just seen this ! Yes I bought the BPP question banks and used them for my revision. You can pick them up for about ยฃ10 new (less second hand) so for a tenner I would say they are worthwhile.
I just spent ยฃ18 buying the Budgeting "Revision Kit" from Kaplan. It arrived this morning and I've half a mind to send it back. It is useful to have the extra questions, but it is very expensive for what you actually get.... BPP question banks offer about the same amount of questions but for half the price.0 -

Hello Anniebabe - No I did not use past papers for FNST. I only used my course material, text book, question bank and mock exam and tutorial notes from my tutor.~ An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest ~Benjamin Franklin0 -
I used both BPP and Kaplan question banks and found them brilliant, they also have practice CBTs in them.
I have all mine for sale if you are interested

thanks for the input guys - just as long as the arent riddled with errors.
I have heard some bad stuff about text books recently.0 -
I bought the question bank for budgeting as an extra. I self studied personal tax and found it helpful.0

I dont think it's possible to buy any text books without mistakes in them, the ACCA ones are the same. Its because they're typed up by people that are typists, not accountants (apparently), however, you'd think that an accountant would check them over first!
The Question Banks seem to be pretty good, I didn't notice any errors0
