Work experience required to register as MIP

Hi,
I would like to become MIP to allow me to do some self employed bookkeeping whilst I am at Uni, this may result in some accounts work and tax returns.
I have worked at a small firm of tax advisers and accountants, where i have worked with all kinds of businesses and individuals, and i feel i am competent enough to complete this work for what should be the simpler end of the market, and will invest in a couple of books to cover anything that i may not be so sure of.
I just wondered what other people gave the AAT as evidence of their work experience, i suppose i could provide copies of nominal ledgers for the bookkeeping side, and copies of accounts and tax returns i have produced for the accounts and tax side. (Obviously those produced by me and taking care to hide any references to personal information, company names etc). My boss believes a statement signed by him stating he is confident i am competent in these areas would suffice. There may be other examples i have not thought of.
I just wondered what kind of thing other people submitted for work experience?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Yep, you don't need to provide evidence, you just need to be able to summarise what experience you have.0
