Well in my defence, they were never called Mintoes. They were called Mintola :-P
Haha, its also good to know that scottish people eat other things apart from deep fried mars bars :thumbup:0 -
Mintola! YES! That's what I was thinking of.
I thought Mentoes/Mintoes were like mint imperials.0 -
The only Mintoes I remember where like butter mints.
But I remember Mint Munchies - they were yummie - hadnt realised they had stopped selling them.
I want to know what happened to Rowntrees Jelly - I can only find Hartleys and its lacking in flavour something terrible - yuckie.0 -

Oh no you are right it was Mintolas! Damn I hate having to admit I am wrong. Yip Mintoes were those Mint Imperial things with the chewy centres.
It is the Mintolas I meant. I was in Morrisons at the weekend too and I never saw them. Yuk Deep Fried Mars Bars I couldn't think of anything more disgusting. I have never tried one. Where we come from in Scotland we have Deep Fried Snickers instead!!!!.............................0 -
Were mintos not the ones that if you put them in a bottle of diet coke they would explode?0
