EC Sales lists

This is not something that I know much about but a client of mine has received one to complete. His VAT returns are to Jan, Apr, Jul & Oct and I only see him once a quarter to get the books up to date and file the VAT, but this EC sales list covers the period from 1 July 2011 to 30 Sept and is due by 14th October. Is this normal? are they not usually alligned with VAT quarters? do you know if I can ask them to re-issue the form to allign the dates?

EC sales lists are always calendar quarters. No option to align with VAT quarters.0

Oh thanks for letting me know, but how annoying! I see there's an option for a simplified EC list which only needs completing once a year and I'm pretty sure he meets all the criteria so I might apply for that instead.0
