Ent's relief is available on qualifying business assets.
Though a large rental property portfolio is taxed on the land and property pages, can it be classed as a business asset?
I'm assuming not, and can't find anything to the contrary, but would be useful if I'm wrong

I try to think of it as being on 'qualifying businesses' as oppose to qualifying business assets. Highlighting how less extensive entrepreneurs relief is compared to the old taper relief.
Property portfolios are not a qualifying business.0 -
Cheers Dean, glad I'm not mad (for once!)0

I believe in some circumstances they could be eligible for stamp duty relief.0

I have looked into reliefs like this before and have found nothing! I don't think there is anything to claim.0
