Student Finance Declaration Form

Hi
Just wondering if someone could answer a question for me in relation to the Student Finance Declaration Form.
I recently became AAT qualified and am now a full member of the MAAT, and have been asked by a relative if I can sign the student finance declaration form because it says an accountant can sign the form.
What I want to check is does my MAAT status give me the right to sign the form as I dont want to sign it if I am not qualified enough to do so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

Can you sign it as a relative anyway? Usually you have to be unrelated on these kind of things don't you?
