How Long for SA Refunds

How long are HMRC taking to process SA refunds at the moment?

Sole Trader made a loss and awaiting a refund.

    It varies. If it is straight forward, the refund is usually only 2-3 weeks. Check online and it will tell you if it has been automatically refunded or not. Sometimes you need to request it again online.

    I could definately say it varies I have one which took 9months to be refunded, with several calls and letters to hmrc enquiring why it was taking that long and I was advised it was going through security checks. But finally client got it back. Good luck
