Running payroll for the first time in a while. Saw a note on HMRC website that you HAD to submit P46's electronically but they still let me download one.
Can anyone shed some light? I don't yet have the electronic stuff set up but I need to put new starters on the payroll.
Cheers

I would imagine it's so that you can get the new employee to fill it in and sign it so that you have a record of which statement they ticked. You then have to submit those details online.0 -
