Budgeting Exam

Has anyone recently sat their budgeting exam in the last few days to week or so? Can I ask was the exam like the one on the AAT website in regards to the wordy question at the end of section 2 and 1? They are of great concern and my exam is tuesday.

Hi Steph,
i sat my budgeting exam yesterday, the calculations where pretty much the same as the practice exams, no nasty surprises, the email in section was same as practice also. Just write what you see, make sure you answer all the questions asked , you cant lose marks for writing too much! but section b was more tricky, everyone has different questions but mine was on the life cycle of a product. read up on this
email in section two was commenting on variances just like the practices too, section b was asking about budgets and there use in a business, i answered in my own words hope i explianed it clearly ha
but like i said no nasty surprises, and good luck

Sorry the message cut off a little, so just to confirm that the calculations throughout were vey similar to the AAT Mock exam? The written question in task 1 was the same layout of question in the AAT mock exam? The written question in section 2 asked you to write an email comparing the variance of say Material, Labour, Administration and Marketing? Then the second part to the written question asks about budgets and their use in the business?

Please would you mind just confirming the above so I have it right in my head.

yes that is correct.
secton one email part b asked me to describe the life cycle of a product and section 3 part b asked me to describe the use of budgets in a business.
Its supposed to be random so you may not get the same as me but i did both the cbas on aat web site and it was pretty similar to these x
