I'm banging my head against the wall with this paper. I'm really struggling with understanding how subsequent events are audited can someone point me in the right direction? I've spent all day today on my day off trying to understand but everything is just confusing.
Please help :(

Have you managed to enter for the exam?

Yes but after paying a higher fee. I've spent so much money on this exam it's unbelievable. I'm still struggling to understand half of it and how I should be answering the questions. A tutor said it was my exam technique that might be letting me down but she didn't say what to do about it. I've tried reading up on subsequent events again this morning but it's just making me even more frustrated.

Have you read Steve's article that he wrote for the ACCA website?

It may also be worthwhile looking back to your AAT DFS notes to refresh IAS10 & IAS37.

I had a quick look at that and understood some of it, and I'm only on level 3 AAT. Didn't realise Steve wrote it, should have known his work is so easy to follow.

I have read it and need to read it again tomorrow. I think I have made a little progress.
That article says Steve Collings is the assessor for F8 but I thought the examiner was Pam Bahl? Has the examiner changed?

Assessors and examiners are different roles, Steve is the assessor and Pami is the examiner

    Hello Glynis

Glad to see you have made progress with subsequent events!
There has not been a change in examiner it is still Pami Bahl. Steve Collings is the assessor and they are different roles as Bluewednesday correctly says. Every ACCA paper has an assessor who works very closely with the examiner to produce the exam. The assessor is basically the examiners "right hand person".
You should have a read of this that will give you an insight of the exam process:
