Rental property - pain in bum client

Hello All
Client has rental property. Done away with agent. Tenant was difficult, client now wants to deduct agents fee as expenses as it took her a lot of time to deal with tenant.
They can't do that and even if they do then have to declare the income won't they?
This is self assessment btw.

Yep, no can do.
It would be like deducting a salary for yourself as a sole-trader.0 -
Thanks. They are the kind of client that tries to add everything and anything and gets really offended and takes it personally if you disallow. It really starts to make you doubt yourself.0
