Closing Ltd company with losses to carry back

If you have a ltd company that has not traded for 3 months and doing a DS01, what happens to the carry back of terminal losses if you also have to close the bank account. The refund i assume will be in the name of the company but I need to inform the company to close the bank account. ...

Is there a step to what comes first, the refund then the closing of the bank account?

The refund can then be drawn out as a dividend

Any help appreciated

Finalise all taxes and monies and then close the bank account and file DS01.

You can request the refund to be paid to you to cover your fees or paid director to the director as long as it is accounted for correctly in the final accounts. By doing this you can close the company bank account

thought about having cheque paid to diretor but as there are 2 directors thought that may cause a problem. think I will just have to make sure I send the DS01 in much later to ensure the bank is credited and then withdrawn etc
    thanks everyone
