Hi everyone

Just joined the forums. I am currently in the middle of my Level 2 studies and on the hunt for a new job as an accounts assistant. Already have over 5 years knowledge of credit control but wanted to move onto a more rounded accounts position. Any tips and advise on how to impress potential employees would be very much appreciated

    Hello there and welcome.
Well, regarding your CV/Cover letter, make sure you write as much as you can about your past experience. Also don't forget to say that you study AAT, that you plan on becoming fully qualified AAT and then move on to further improvement (ACCA or so). This shows that you are really doing your best, have some background related to the job and you are self motivated by improvement. I am currently in the same position as you (well, I lack the experience) so I wish both you and me luck in finding a supportive and challenging job.
