Closing a Company - Journals

Please can someone help I am a total blank!! :001_smile:
We currently run two companies from the same premises. Company A and Company B. However we are closing company A as it only does a small part of the trade and no longer worth running seperate. I need to transfer the assets, overheads purchase ledger balances, sales ledger balance etc over to Company B but I don't know where to start. I think I am reading too much in to it and trying to over complicate this!!
Any help greatly appreciated!
