I have a job interview as an accounts ledger clerk tomorrow. If anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated!

In my experience...

Be early & plan your route if you do not know the area.

Always accept a glass of water - buys you time if you need to think longer before answering a tricky question.

Dress to impress - wear a suit, even if they have a casual dress policy.

Attention to detail - do your research on the company, the role, their people & the market they are in. You might want to credit check them too if you have not heard of them before.

But most importantly I would just try to stay calm & let your personality come through.

Pick out key words and phrases from their website mission statement so it shows you have researched.

Don't be afraid to show your excited about the job.
