Not sure where you are with regard to making a final decision on whether to tackle the advanced stage or not. I think your fears were that you took some of the papers a while ago etc.
Looking through gillards I've come across this:

It shows the cost of the TI manuals and what manuals are provided. It appears that these manuals would bring your right up to speed with everything anyway so it won't matter how long ago you took some of the papers?
