Logging in to Sage Accounts

Hi

I am trying to login to Sage Accounts 50 (5 companies licence) and it is coming up with Username is already in use. HELP!

    Has your pc shut down for any reason with Sage still open?
    I've seen this before when mine has. Are you the only one that uses Sage? I am and have just carried on logging in, it will come up with something like removing this user may cause them to loose work or some such frightening message, but I've had no problem.
    Run check data when you do get logged in though just in case.

    I believe the fix is to navigate to the 'ACCDATA' folder of your Sage installation (do you know where to find that), and find a file called QUEUE.DTA and delete it. I'm not an expert though so rather than deleting it I'd say rename it to 'QUEUEOLD.DTA'.

    Once that's done, try logging in and you should be fine!
