CPD after AAT

This may sound like a really stupid question, but please bear with me.

My only association with AAT has been as a distance learner and I don't have a lecturer I can ask and I have never received any careers advice.

I understand that I need to undertake CPD after AAT to keep my skills up to date.

Would studying CIMA at the operational tier after the completion of AAT be deemed a sufficient level of CPD each month/year?

Sorry if this is stupid or in the wrong place, but I have to ask?

Yes if it fits your learning needs...You will still need to record it as CPD, but it does count.

You also get reduced subscription for it, so check your MYAAT and see if you filled it all in.

    Cheers dude!

I had no idea I would be entitled to a reduction in membership fees If I pursued CIMA / ACCA.

I only knew of this a couple of days ago, ( the fee reduction) and I only though it applied to degree courses.

    Thanks for your help!
