Has anyone sat this exam yet, if so is the exam similar to all the practise papers?
Any comments welcome

Hello Jessica
I have sat the exam and used the practice papers as part of my revision.
Make sure you practice ALL the variance calculations and understand what they mean. You should also be confident with writing a report/email with recommendations for this module.
Have you completed Budgeting? I feel that having sat Budgeting first helped with understanding certain aspects of Financial Performance.
You will need to understand and be able to apply ratios as you will be tested on these - you may have covered these already if you have completed Financial Statements. You should also understand standard/AC/MC and cost behaviour, indexing, time series, life cycle costing, target costing and activity based costing. I'm sure there is more but the above should help you with your revision planning.
Good luck with the exam.

Hello Becky
You will find that there is some overlap with Budgeting but this module is to be studied in it own right and has additional subject matter which you will need to learn, understand and apply.
Good luck and feel free to ask for help if/when you have any queries.

Hi
Yes I have sat and passed the budget exam, just worried about the extended writing tasks!
I have my exam on Monday - work full time and feel under pressure.
Thanks for your reply

You're most welcome Jessica
Is it just the written sections you are worried about?
Good luck.
