Hi everyone,
Just looking people's personal opinions really? Have any of you completed AAT then moved on to ACCA? I am just wanted to know what you thought of the step up between the two? I am due (fingers crossed/touch wood) to finish AAT in July/August and thinking of ACCA in September.
Thanks
Steph

There's a significant step up. The area of knowledge you have to cover is much greater, and the exams a lot less straighforward.
I found with AAT if you could do the core things you'd be fine, but with ACCA there was a lot of the exam based on obscure topics you could easily miss or skip and being unimportant. Plus questions are often odd mixtures of topics.
Basically, you need to double or triple the time you put in..0
