Icas project help needed

Hi all,

Ive almost finished my ICAS project but need a bit of advice regarding the mapping document

theres a section which im struggling to talk much about

it says:

explain the effect on users of changes to the accounting systems caused by
-external regulations
-organisational policies and procedures

ive mentioned paye and vat and accounting standards but feel i need to add more

ive googled this and it doesnt say much more really

any advice would be appreciated

i am currently on 3664 words, i think i need at least 200 more to upload it

The two main pieces of legislation that will affect users are the Companies Act 2006 (as the finacial statments must comply with the requirements of the act) also the Data Protection Act.

Depending on the nature of the business you could consider the Consumer Credit Act.

Hope that is enough to get you started.

Thanks so much uk knity, i have finished my project and have just went to upload it onto my learning and the link isnt there, ill have to see my tutor about this tommorrow
but thanks i incorporated both of these acts in to my project and added alot more on the vat, paye, and deductions that can be affected by external regulation
