I have a client who lives abroad but comes over hear to work self emplyed.
Can he claim for accomadation whilst he is working here
Can anyone help as I cannot seem to find the information on the HMRC website

I believe the same rules would apply, i.e. that if his work location(s) is/are not classed as a 'temporary workplace' then he can't claim anything; otherwise he can claim the costs of the journeys.
I would also just be a little worried about the 'geographic' rules on places of work. See HMRC Helpsheet 490, paragraph 3.330
