Hi all,
Just wondered what your experience of the actual exam was like - was it similar to the practice CBAs on the AAT website???
I sat budgeting yesterday and exam was very similar to the AAT mocks but not sure how i am feeling with financial performance!!!
Thanks for taking the time to reply

Hi Jane,
There was a very similar thread not so long ago that you may want to read here.
Hope this helps and good luck! I am still waiting for my results.....

Thank you for this Marie,
I think i am just panicing about this exam. I feel okish with the calculations and have spent most of today brushing up on the written elements - i've done myself a structure and i'm hoping that as long as i stick to this i will cover all the points that i need to. I just hope i don't get surprises on the exam!
Hope you and me both pass it!!! I hate the wait for the results0 -
Hi Jane when is your exam? Mine is 28th May and i am feeling very nervous. I think its because its my last exam, but am trying really hard to remember everything. I am just going to practice, and practice until it sticks!!! Good luck with yours0

Good luck for tomorrow let me know how it goes0

Well sat the exam and not sure how it went - i have never been able to predict these things! It was similar to the mocks but i found that there is lots of additional info you need to go through! Oh well its done now and have to wait 6 long weeks for the results!0

Try and forget about it now and enjoy the rest of the weekend! (says the person who starts checking My AAT for exam results about 10 days after sitting the exam )
Good luck for your results0 -

What was the additonal info?0 -
Hi Becky,
This "additional info" was also referred to in the earlier thread.
I found that some of the questions included surplus details, which you did not need for the calculations, and may be were designed to confuse! so look at the questions carefully, and and check for all the relevant details that you need. Just because some figures are provided - it doesn't mean that you need them!
Good luck,

Thank you GP i am feeling so nervous about this exam. I have done practice exams and have passed but know there are some areas i need more practice!0
-
Good luck Becky, just keep practising, at least you are aware of the areas that may need a bit more, (have you done Greenlight & Osborne quizzes - they are good practice) once you get into the exam, stay calm, concentrate, and you will be fine. Just think, this time next week, it will be done!

Thank you GP!! Yes i have done the greenlight and will do the osborne quizzes this week. Im sure it will be fine on the day. I have got my last revision class today so that will help0

Hi Becky - sorry for the late reply work has been manic. I know how you feel about being nervous i was the exact same. Try to relax as well its surprising how much comes back to you in the exam! Good luck!!!0

Hi Jane thanks, i think im ok now with the calculations, it is the written questions. Is it the same as the mock exams where section 2 is the written tasks? I will be revising in the sunshine over the weekend!!!!0
