Accomodation Benefit - Time apportion??

in AAT Level 4 (Level 8 in Scotland)
Hi everyone
Last minute cramming before my Personal Tax exam tomorrow.
Please can someone tell me if accomodation basic charge and expensive accomodation benefits should be time apportioned or not if someone doesn't live in the accomodation for the full twelve months??
