ACCA Books, advice please

Hi all

I will shortly finish AAT level 4, and I am planning to do ACCA after. Do I have to buy the latest ACCA books? Will the second hand books dated in 2008 be ok for the exam? Any advice will be appreciated.

    ACCA had a slight refresh of its syllabus about 2 years ago, and I think the changes were first examined in June 2011. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend using books from 2008, as they won't include any new areas that are now tested.
