Distance Leanring Kaplan Level 4

Hi All,

Just wondered if people doing distance learning with kaplan can advise.

Do you get a allocated tutor for the distance learning either by that sole way and inc live online or just online? Do you have like an induction chat over the phone?

    Hi Martin,

    Not sure if I'll be much help as I have only spoken to a tutor for ICAS but I don't think that you get an allocated one. I think you just phone up and they will put you through to whoever is available (or, more likely, get someone to phone you back). I bought Level 4 DL from Kaplan. Didn't get any sort of induction or contact from a tutor - but then again, I didn't contact them either!

    Not sure about the Live Online side of it.

    Sorry im not with Kaplan, but most providers assign you a tutor. Distance learning is different from the online classes, there should be an induction pack (that will explain what you need to do, or you can call and get them to run through everything.) My induction for distance learning (not kaplan) consisted of discussing my time aims, timetable, exams and modules I was going to study first etc.

    Probably best to call Kaplan and ask
