CV writing/checking companies

Hi ive always neglected my cv, as whislt at university tended to apply for part time jobs where i doubt they took much notice of my cv. Im not sure if my cv is now up to scratch, just wondering if anyone has used any cv checking/writing services? if so can anyone recommend a reputble company?

I'd definitely recommend Aimee Bateman at careercake - she does the AAT webcasts about searching for jobs and is extremely great value for money considering the energy she puts in and the advice etc and service provided.
