Careers Event in Newcastle

Tyne & Wear branch are running FREE Careers event this Saturday (30th June). The programme
includes the following:-

CV Writing Skills (Members are welcome to bring their own CV for review).
The Role of Agencies
Google Search (How to use this facility for your own job search).
Interview Techniques (Competency Backed Interviews; the "STAR" Technique).

Time is 9.30 for refreshments with a 10am start. Finish will be at1.00pm. Venue is The Centre for Life
NE1 4EP, which is a 3 minute walk from the main railway station.

Key speaker is Chris Hope - Finance Director at Dean Taxis. Amongst other things, he will be talking
about what he looks out for when employing Accounts Staff.

Other speakers are Fred Punter and Ryan Harbron, both recruitment consultants at Hays.
