One exam and two resits all in the next 8 days...

Well I have my External Auditing tomorrow, FNPF resit Tuesday evening and FNST resit next Friday (at least that is a freebie!) and am not looking forward to any of them. I didn't know that I was resiting FNPF so soon till last night, I really don't feel ready for it so guess what I will be doing this weekend.

I have beer ready in the fridge for after they are all finished.

    Hey,

Thats a hectic schedule!! I thought I had it hard studying and sitting the exams every 6weeks or so.

All the very best with EXA tomorrow, and the ones to follow!!

    Thanks Whirlwind

I allowed myself the luxury of a lie-in this morning and am avoiding the books, if I don't know it now...

Well that went well, not! Horrible horrible exam, reading the questions I felt that I had only covered half of it so I can see another resit looming on the horizon. No-one came out feeling particularly happy with it.

No time to worry about it now, onto FNPF for Tuesday now.

Last one of the three today and after the disasters of the previous two I am hoping to feel a bit better when I leave the room today.

I had a lie-in this morning, normally up by 5am!

Today's exam (FNST) went no better than the other two, could not get anything to balance, but I felt happier with my written answers than I did the first time I sat it, just have to chew my finger nails for 6 weeks now before I found out how all three went :(

Well three weeks after the first of the three and I am starting to getting itchy fingers and even though I know I am going to have to wait 3 more weeks (potentially) I am starting to check for my results every day.

    Hi

Yes am done now, barring any further resits! I am being pushed at work to do either CIMA or ACCA now as they have a limited amount of funding available each year to help with fees but I need to pass AAT first and then I think I want a bit of time away from colleges.

Good luck for your resit, FNST isn't it? Is that you finished?

I do think that this year has been a massive step up on level 3, I know I wasn't prepared for it, I also think we were spoiled last year being able to get our results within minutes, this 6 week wait is killing me!

Just found out that I have passed External Auditing - phew - just waiting for the results of the FNST and FNPF resits now, should have both of those by Friday of next week. At least now I know I only have two more resits potentially and not 3.

Have just received my last two results - passed FNPF (which was a huge surprise considering how I struggle with Fixed Overhead Variances) and failed FNST, which was a disappointment as I felt much happier when I left the exam room than I did the first time I sat it. Oh well, at least it is only one more resit and at least I only have to concentrate on one subject this time.

Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting.

Well done on passing financial performance. Fnst is difficult and I'm sure you will pass it next time. I'm waiting for fnst too and don't think I passed as my figures didn't balance either.

I'm waiting for FNST results as well! Got the feeling that I won't pass either for the same reason (cash flow statement not balancing) and also for confusing one of the ratios. When did you take yours, Tracy?

Ah, that means I've got ages to wait as I took mine on July 12. You may be pleasantly surprised Tracy, and find that you actually passed despite the Statement of Financial Position not balancing. I do think that's possible and I wish you all the very best!

Congratulations to everyone on this thead that has passed their exams recently :thumbup1:
