So my tutor told me to move my Cost/Benefit analysis to the appendices. I just did that and I lost 1,000 words from my report! Noooooooo! Now i have to think of other stuff to write! Not cool..
Thought I'd share!
Hope everyone's enjoying thsi lovely weather.. Gives us absolutely no excuse not to study/write reports! Being stuck indoors all day!

lol the cost benefit analysis is part of the main body of the report, it's shouldn't be no where
near the appendices!!!!!
I don't know what your tutor is going on about, but my cost benefit analysis is just after i did my
recommendations for the company. I would recommend putting your cost benefit analysis back in the main body
of your report and retrieve them precious 1000 words back :thumbup1:AAT

It's because I am quite wordy and go on a bit so he has said to put what I have already done into the appendices and put a summary clearly showing the c/b in the report!
Just made up another 600 or so with redoing it, so should get there eventually!
I have loads of appendices.. I should prob cut them down a bit!
Have you done yours?

I'm doing Inkwell. I sent in a first draft a couple of weeks ago to my tutor and got really good feedback on it, so I'm working through that at the moment. I should have a proper draft to upload this afternoon! Then we shall see how good it is! (or isn't!)
Good luck getting yours accepted!

Hello Becca
I think I have a new one.... Sandwich Master Ltd! Anyone else have this one or a different one to Cookridge Carpets and Inkwell?

Hi Jo, it sounds as though you have a new one! I think that last summer when I did Inkwell, I was one of the first to get it, maybe they just bring out a new one each year.
Oh well, Good luck, Enjoy!

Hi Jo, at least they can't accuse you of ever copying if no one else has had it
Good luck!!

You pay your training provider, who pays the AAT for the case study which you can then download from your MyAAT LearnPlus thingy.
Unless you are doing it based on your work place or similar.

Hey Aaron,
Yeh I got draft one in and got feedback on that after about 2 weeks. Then I sent the second draft in saturday lunchtime and got feedback within a couple of hours! My tutor was very helpfully at work on saturday! I have lots of feedback to go through now and hopefully should be that little bit closer to being finished!
Did about 6 hours on sat.. not that I could've done anything else- being flooded in!

Wish I got feedback that quick!
It really helps that you're allowed to submit up to six times for the ICAS, so when you do receive some feedback and need to add or change a few things you can resubmit again which hopefully gets you closer to the
competent :001_smile:AAT

Hi
My cost benefit analysis was in the appendices and was told from day 1 thats where it should be. I passed this months ago.0 -
idk my tutor never told me anything about a cost benefit analysis going into the appendices.
My appendix comprises of Organisation chart, SWOT analysis, flow chart (optional), mapping sheet,
technical notes & letter of authenticity.
Congrats on passing :thumbup1:AAT

I don't think it really matters, as long as everything is mapped and it's all there then it doesn't matter where in the report/appendices it goes!

Hey guys
Can anybody tell me how to access my icas feedback
i cant seem to find it :mad2:0 -
Hi Ann,
I'm not quite sure where to access the feedback, however I keep checking the place where the project was
submitted in learnplus. On my submission page it just says submission (awaiting mark), so maybe you might see
some feedback in the notes section below the page or anywhere on that page.AAT
