Help with trend % calculation please

Hi all I'm having trouble working out the % trend on this question, help please :)

The table below contains information about the last three months cost per kilogram for product Exe.

Complete the blank cells to show details of the trend.
Show all figures in whole numbers.
Month August September October
Actual Cost .........£165 £159 £145
Seasonal Variation+£15 +£6 -£11

    if you have the Seasonal variation, then do the opposite from the info so:
    August £165-£15=£150
    September £159-6=£153
    October £145+£11=156

    Trend increase is £3 per month

    if you have the trend and need the seasonal variation, do the same as shown (if+ then +)

    the % increase is 156/153=1.0196 or 101.96%/1.96%

    Yes Diddy is right with trend = 150 for august 153 for september and 156 for october

    The trend increase is yep £3 per month.

    However to work out the %increase we have to do difference in trend/ original then * 100
    so the difference = 6/divided by original trend which is 150 for august then * 100 which = 4%
