Student loan for AAT level 4

Are AAT level 4 students eligible to apply for a student loan through Student Finance England ?

Hi Sofiane

I believe that AAT level 4 may qualify for a student loan.

I called the student loan helpline earlier this year when starting at level 2 and quoted something on the AAT website which was along the lines of:
Level 2 - GSCE equivilent
Level 3 - A level equivilent
Level 4 - First year of an undergraduate degree.

I was advised that level 2 and 3 would not qualify but level 4 on the information I had provided might well qualify.

I was advised to submit an application but decided that due to amount involved I would self fund.

If they can't help, you might consider a Professional and Career Development loan;

It's not quite as good as an "official" student loan, but it's better than most regular loans.
