Hi, we have a client who has installed solar panels onto a rented property. My understading is that he cant get any tax relief through the rental property. But he would would treat the income (from the tenant for the electricity he charges them) as seperate self employed income and could get special pool rate capital allowances agaisnt this income from the cost of installation - is this correct?
Many thanks!
