Degree?

Hey guys
I've already passed AAT and ATT and was going to move onto CTA, but I'm not sure of where I want my career to go at the moment so am thinking about putting the CTA studies off for a bit.
I was on the HMRC website this week and noticed that they're starting the intake for the tax development programme again. Something like that sounds like my dream job - busting bad guys and working in tax! The only downside is that you HAVE to have at least a 2:2 degree...and I don't!
Basically, I've been looking around and it looks like some uni's will let you jump onto the second year of a degree if you've done AAT, but my main problem is that I don't appear to be able to find a suitable course that I can do by distance learning - which is a must considering I work full time!
Any help/ideas would be much appreciated
