Accounts Production and Lead Schedules

Hi, I have just started in Practice and would like to ask for some advice regarding software for taking clients excel spreadsheets and creating the lead schedules etc and producing the final accounts.

I do not have any ltd companies just self employed and partnerships. I am thinking that an etb in excel and then producing the accounts would be the way to go. However, I am struggling on how to setup the lead schedules.

Does anyone have a template they would be willing to share. I have looked at VT accounts but to be honest for just self employment I dont think this is necessary.

    Do you really need that? I do my small self-employed clients' accounts straight from the excel spreadsheets.

    I would prefer to do it straight from the spreadsheets but do you prepare the lead schedules etc manually?
