Hi
Dividends received is put in the investing activities of the Statement of Cashflows and dividends paid is put in the financing activities.
When in your exam?0 -
Thanks, exam is on tuesday arghh!!!0

No problem and good luck!! Mines is on Thursday!!0

Do you know how to calculate dividends paid for cash flow statement. One question said it had been paid from retained earnings. And just gave retained earnings figures for 2 years0
-
Retained workings = Retained earnings + profits - dividends paid
So I think you just rearrange this forumla and work it out that way!
You might want to confirm with your tutor though.0 -

Hi
it was ok there were a few things that I wasn't too confident on but glad it is now over. Just waiting for the results. Going to do budgeting next have heard it's a lot easier.
How did you find the exam?0 -
I found some question quite difficult too. Fingers crossed I've passed. It's so frustrating waiting for the results!! I'm doing budgeting next too. Where do you study?0

Doing online learning hoping to do exam in December, appar Budgeting is a lot easier than FNST. I don't like waiting 6 weeks either just want to know if I have passed or failed now as the exam really could have gone either way.0
