SWOT Analysis in BPP ICAS

Hi all,

Another late night working through the ICAS unit!! Just needed a bit of advice on the SWOT analysis under a BPP tutor, as there seems to be conflicting ideas on the forum depending on who the training provider is.

Is the SWOT analysis for the whole accounts department or just the section I am focusing on (ie Acccounts Receivable)?

I have never read a report like this let alone written one, so this unit is certainly taking it toll!!

Hello

I completed ICAS under a BPP Tutor. My SWOT was for the accounting function as a whole as well as touching on other areas in the business, for example security.

You should seek guidance from your tutor as they are the person marking your report so you need to ensure that your SWOT is completed and covers what they require.

Thanks for that - I will email her now.

She is currently marking sections 4 & 5 (feedback due on Tuesday), but I have to submit section 6 by 12/11/12 so thought I needed to crack on.
